Born in Minnesota. Grown up in Fillmore county, closest town Peterson Pop. 169 for many many years. Raised watermelons and rabbits. Hunted squirrels and fished trout, red horse and just about anything that would bite. Cut and split wood for the stove, "5 foot logs"! (oak and birch) Tubed the Root River before tubing was super popular. Educated in Mechanical Design when the work was done on the drawing board. Moved to Colorado in 1986. Followed Mechanical Design and medical equipment into the CAD world and computers. Segued into UNIX systems administration then heavy metal enterprise support. Now in communications and still doing the computer thing. Skiing and riding bikes is my thing, both very much a part of my life growing up and to now. A dream come true. Certified to ride on a velodrome. Licensed to race. Since seeing it on ABC's Wide World of Sports in 1972, it always had my interest. Many other growing up things took precedence over it, (like skiing) but it was always there. I've skied since I was 12 years old, my uncle John took me to Mt. Frontenac and taught me the basics. (Frontenac is between Lake City and Red Wing). Took that love of skiing to Colorado and up until December of 2016, have had some really great times in the Mountains. I've seriously gotten a bike bug. Serious. Life takes its twists and turns and you end up here.
